looks much better lowered. adding the front lip to it now will really compliment it

 

Since both the top and bottom have pigtails, the most you can cut is half a coil. Those look like linear springs also because their are no dead coils. You could trim about 1/3-1/2 coil from both top and bottom, but start with top only because the bottom is more critical to seat on the strut.
