Default Windows

My front windows still make a screeching sound when they are put up or down even after i have had the tints taken off. Does anyone know if the dealer will do anything about this now that the tints are off? Also, when the windows are down and i close the doors, it seems like the windows are loose in the door and rattle inside, is this a commom problem, or just a one off?

Thanx for any advice

is it a metallic screech or a squeegee type screech?

If it is a metallic screech you need to use lithium grease on the track inside the door.

If it is a squeegee (rubber on glass) type screech you still have adhesive or something sticky on your glass or the rubber along the glass.

A hardware store sells it in an aerosol can. You'll have to pull the door panel.

They were limo (5%). they cost $35 to take off. and its goin to cost another $60 to get put back on once i get my car back from the shop. Thats why i want to get the screeching problem fixed before they go back on. Ill take it to the dealer and telll them that they screech, im sure it will be covered under the warranty. if they say it cant be fixed, ill tell em all you need is some lithium grease (thanx one).
