X-Type 2.5 Won't Rev over 3000 RPM

So my G/F has a 2002 X-Type and it won't rev over 3000RPM. Scan came back 2029 which I think is for Throttle Sensor! Anyone experience this issue?

I just had an issue like this and it was a vacuum leak from brake booster line. $99.00 fixed me right up

Mine was doing the same thing but replaced the o-rings on the IMT valves and it was a fix
