Exclamation X-Type AC/Ventilating cycling on/off
I have a 2004 Jaguar X-Type whose air conditioning/ventilating fan cycles on and off constantly. Since the fan "offs" are longer than the fan "ons," neither the ventilating with outside air nor the air conditioner effectively cool the car. I hear a clicking noise inside the left upper part of the dashboard when in an "off" cycle. Have any of you run across this problem before?

IF i remember, the upper left side is where the little fan and interior temp sensor is.

Can't say for sure, but it sounds like the interior temp sensor may be bad.

Hey, is there any new information on this topic? I am having this exact problem on my 05 X-Type
