X-type battery reconnect= transmission fault & no start

CHANGED DRIVER'S SIDE HEADLIGHT BULB. Took out battery, unplugged necessary connectors, reassembled. It wont start! Lights work now, why how what is this? Advice anyone? 321-848-3013 Jules, Joshy's dad,

Did you check the fuse for the transmission control module? Also check the connectors to the TCM to make sure they are clean and not corroded. It sounds like it could be an electronic problem with the TCM and so I would start there.

tried to check the tcm and then I realized I don't really know what I'm looking at. It all just looks like plugged in wires to me. I don't see anything that it seems like I shouldn't.

The TCM is located above where the driver's left foot would be, way up and back in the left corner. You can search "x-type TCM" on ebay to get some good pictures of what one looks like.

By the way, since removing and re-installing the battery caused this problem, you should double check the cables and connections and make sure they are clean and tight. Even thought the lights work, the module may not be getting the full voltage.
