Default X-Type Clutch Performance?

2003 Jaguar X-Type 2.5 Manual, I killed the clutch.

I have considered just getting the stock replacement for 2003 BUT I want better. Reading has drawn me to know that ~2004+ clutch's are better for reverse and can transfer into 2003.

I really want a double action clutch. Can I do this?

Also buying performance has me in a realm of the unknown..
Can someone brake down: "9-7/16" x 1" x 23T Spline"?

Stock is (9-7/16") is it possible to replace with (1-5/32 )

If the stock clutch is 23 Spline can I upgrade to 26 Spline or is this a downgrade? (Is 10 Spline worth )

Is it okay for me to buy a 3 disk clutch ?
Is the disk count related to double action?

How many inches is the (03) X-type 2.5 clutch?

Just buy the (06-09) 3.0 Stock Clutch?

Im very young and a looking for creative ways to be productive, Im enthused by the complications of my Jaguar and want to understand.
