Hi first time poster from London . My 05 estate X type has rear park aid sensors which are working but no sound from the speaker . I have looked on many forums as to,where the hell the speaker is located on the estate. No one has a definitive answer. Today at my jag dealer four senior mechanics couldn't find it and its not pictured in the workshop manual. I know this has been covered before but not answered properly. Thank you in advance

Four Jaguar mechanics couldn't find the speaker!

If you had a Saloon it would be easy. The speaker is under the parcel shelf. On the Estate it's apparently behind the trim in the LH (passenger side) rear. Not an exact description but at least it eliminates three quarters of the car from the search!

Check in the spare wheel area for the reverse parking aide module. There will be a connector with a pair of wires (Blue and Red/Blue). Follow this harness to the speaker.

I'd have expected a Jaguar dealer would just have plugged another speaker into the module to check whether yours had failed or not.

Sadly no . its not there either. I think when Jaguar bulit these cars they stuck this small speaker wherever they fancied. Waiting for it to stop raining so I can follow the blue wire
