That's a misfire on cyl #2
I'm not sure as to why the car shuts down because of it..

You may want to check all your wiring and connnections. Might be just as simple as a loose connection anf the rain shortens it out...

 

Hey Racer, where can I find the OBD-II codes? Sorry for the thread jack.

 

I posted all the codes and what they mean....do a quick search under my posts..

 

Do you think it could have something to do with the Mass Airflow Sensor? If there is a lead AFTER the airfilter and some water is getting into the MAS then it would instantly shut vertualy any car off. This usually happens after a major service in which the intake is removed.

 

Heck anything is possible is these cars where the computer takes control of everything....

No, i was just teasing you bro....i got 30K on my 05 now, no worries yet and still have the same fluid. Was thinking about changing it when it gets warmer here....

 

doesn't Jag change it at 30K service? Or do you have to ask them to change that joint? hehehe. ebonics again...
