Could someone, who has a sat-nav in their x-Type, help me? Could you please measure the screen width and height for me? I want to know if it's possible to fit a 7" screen in there? Also would like to know if the screen is only for radio, gps etc. Or do you need it to control heater/air-con also?

 

Hi, the screen size is 16cm x 9.5cm or 6.5inches x 3.5inches. I'm not sure about the depth behind the screen.
As you can see from the pictures, the temperature control and fan speed and air-con /climate buttons are separate from the screen but the fan speed display and the face/feet/windscreen blending choice and display are via the Jaguar screen as are some of the radio and CD functions/displays and all the CDC and telephone operations.
