Seems legit to me too! Not available in the US... I guess taking the sport and adding a few bells and whistles makes it an "R"?

I don't think it's an X-Type R as much as the R page they show is for assesories, like the wheels shown.

Legit website, but that is certainly not a Supercharged X-Type. The real XTR concept was supposed to come to life a few years ago but never did. I don't now if it has anything to do with Ford selling Jaguar, or if it simply turned out to be an impossible task.

they still have it, it was supposidly trans port to the company vault or hold facility, can't remeber the actual name, and they made 2 prototypes. The problem was that the parts were very crowed in the engine compartment, and cooler had to be located really far down int he engine bay and would get messed up anytime the car came close to a curb. There was also the issue of awd, and how they planned to work with it or with out it. alot the mechanical probs were/could have been worked out but, when the ford sold it, thye decided it would be a big fail like the normal x type. They were wrong though, and the idea of a bimmer hunter was thrown out.
