I recently bought a 2002 xtype sport pheonix red, and i love it.


around 12K mileage
very clean


thinking about some mods
lowering
sound upgrade
exuast
suggestions would help


One problem i have with the jag is with the key fob. It chooses when to work. What is the problem? Battery?
Most of the time it unlocks but it locking hardly ever works. I have to lock with the key and its a hassle. Helo would be appreciated.

 

wow someone chromed the aguillas and upgraded the grill , nice find. if its only when you use the fob then yea it mine be the battery Ive had something similar happen and my key had to be recoded.

The grill he speaks of is the mesh grill you have on it. The stock front grill have bars going vertical. As long as it is a sport model I like any color!

You might be able to get the dealer to take car of the key fob not working properly (I believe there was a bulletin on it.) Take both in and be really nice and see what happens!

 

thanks aquill i thought i was losing it... I though only the newer model 05+ came with the mesh style grill and since he said 02 i fighured he had upgraded it. I could be wrong though, i have an 04 and my grill is the black on black horizontal bars(Bmw lookalike).

 

Yeah the newer one's have the mesh but none of the 03-04s have that grill. Looks good but i'd have to have both (upper/lower)
