Solved! I'm an idiot. I missed the 4 screws!

Hi gang, I ordered a CarPlay box so I can add that to my XF. The problem is, I can't seem to find a video, etc on how to take the radio out. There's plenty of XE, F-Pace, and Pre-2016 XF's (which have vents on the sides), but no 2016+ XF. Anyone know where I could find that? I've already taken much of the trim off, but it still doesn't look obvious from here.

 

Progress! I figured out that the controls under the screen just pull out (like the XE). But the trim around the screen itself is a mystery.

 

I think I got it... the screen screws are buried in there barely visible. I'll report back!

Looking to add one if those to my XE. Which module did you get? Was it the Bosch or Harman? For some reason, the Harman kits are higher in price for the same features.

 

I have the Harman version. It was from GTA Car Kits. Works really well!
