Default Alarm - Unarmed/Armed

Sometimes when the wife drives the car and I check the status using the remote app, it says the car is locked but alarm is UNARMED? I thought the alarm automatically armed when you lock the car. Any idea what determines if the alarm is armed or unarmed (not sure what she's doing).

My guess is the app is just super slow or not updating properly. It is a terrible app overall. (Is there even a way to refresh without logging out???) Try logging out and back in. My app seems to struggle to update on it's own and I have to log out and back in in order for it to show the current state.

I think the app only shows the alarm as armed if you have double locked.. (double press, the car gives the audible confirmation..) Single lock only activates the perimeter alarm, full alarm activation requires double lock.

Single lock shows both locked and alarmed on the app.

Could it be while she is actually driving it? It locks when you drive, but clearly alarm would be off?

Interesting... You might be right. I'll need to check that closer next time. Thanks
