Day light running lights
I have just purchased a Jaguar F pace on a 67 plate (November 2017) from a local used car trader. On getting home I noticed that the day light running lights were not working
I scanned the car for codes and two came up B124A-11and B124B-11 Right and left DRL short to ground. I returned the car to the dealer for him to
repair. He has returned it with centre light illuminated not the outer blade shape i was expecting. My partner has an XE and the lights work as I would expect. Has the dealer
done a dodgy repair?

Could well be, or at least a wrong diagnosis of the problem. I would expect the daytime running lights to function the same between the FPace and XE. FPaces are fairly common so you should be able to confirm that. I would take it back to the dealer and press them on it.....
Thank you for your reply. I think you are right. I have watched a test drive video on you tube and the car in question did have the J blades illuminated all the time.
I am going back to the dealer, and get them to have another look at the headlights. There is another issue with the lights, as the high beam is useless. The blue light comes on
when on high beam and there is a noise when you change to high beam, but it makes little difference to the lighting. I will get them to address this problem. The car has just passed an MOT
and in my view it should not have passed. Thank you again for your input.

Additionally if it is a Jag dealer he probably has other F Paces there. You can insist that they compare or watch your video. I have only delt with one Jag dealership in the states, but they just replaced parts until the problem went away. Not too bad under warrantee but once it expired it became very expensive....
My bright lights on the XE are retina burning LOL. I have the ones for the R-Sport which are different than some of the other models.

Hello Again.
I will look on Autotrader to see if any local dealers have a year specific model on stock, and ask them would it be possible to take a photo of the car
with the day light running light on and also the main beam headlight. My wife has a Jaguar XE, R sport ,and as you say the lights are phenomenal.
Thank you again for your advice.
