Default driver seat, clicking sound

Tried to search the forum but was unable to find this exact issue: a clicking sound from somewhere under the electric driver seat (2016 XE 25t). It happens when accelerating, sometimes when braking or turning. It sounds like a small, loose piece rolling back against metal, but I have checked each component under the seat and everything seems to be firmly in place. I noticed that moving the seat fully back, then fully forward, and then to the driving position solves the problem for a few minutes. This is driving me crazy; every time I step on the gas, there it is: CLICK :/ Any suggestions as to what may be the cause?
Thanks in advance
Adriaan

Did you ever think it might be something stuck in the floor ducting under the seat? Seen that confuse people as seat noises before.

I did lift the ducting a bit, without removing it, but found nothing special there. Actually today the noise is gone (for how long I wonder), after an endless combination of seat adjustments, so I guess it has something to do with that. It could also be some part of the seat cooling system, which I have been using. Anyway, thanks for the reply!
