Default Question re the TPMS

Since the dealer kindly set my tire pressures to “normal” the car rides like a truck.

I’ve been reducing the pressures in stages but get inconsistent results. When I finally got down to 37 all round I took I the car for a 2 km run and the pressures all bounced up to 38 and after another 3 km up to 39. Except one tire which stayed at 38. I wouldn’t have thought temperature can have been a factor over such a short distance? I tried again today and found that the pressure actually went up within 100yds, to 38 and 40 within 1 km.

Does anyone have experience with the accuracy of the TPMS readout in the dash? Should I believe the cold setting in the garage or the reset after a very short drive?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
