For anyone with the 800+ watt Meridian 17 speaker stereo, how do you find it? How might it compare tona B&O or HK from Audi or BMW? Thanks.

 

Well, I can say it blows the Alpine in my XK or VDP away. Better than what I have heard from any HK or Bose equipped car. The B&O in my buddies 7 series is pretty sweet and I'd say in the same ball park. I am not a car stereo maven, but I am impressed to the point that the Meridian is a must check option if you listen to the stereo at all...

 

I have the upgraded system in my XE and I think it is a very good sound system. Although I tried the brand new B&O in the new Audi A4/A5 and that sounded a bit better with high bass.

I would say it is very close and would have to compare it side to side, but people have been impressed with the meridian sound system and I am very happy with it.

It's definitely worth the upgrade because you get the bigger and better touch screen which is fast and looks great.
