What are the rims made of?
They are aluminium alloy but there may be a small percentage of magnesium in the aluminium. Other elements are also in the alloy mix too. What the production process is I can't say, but I suspect they are all cast unless you are buying one of the more exotic XE versions.

They are all cast except the Farallon Grey rims I have on my 2014 XJR which are forged from Jaguar. These are 20" diameter and staggered widths. 9" in the front and 10" in the back.
They are TOUGH! Every other car I have had with alloy rims they got bent and damaged from use/abuse. Nothing with these at all and I have hit some big potholes!
This is the first set of forged rims I have ever had and I must say they have impressed me!
Thinking about it there may be other forged rims from Jaguar that I am not aware of? Maybe on the special cars like the SVR??
Of course some primo CF rims would really be cool but the prices I have seen are in the $10K+ range!
