Hi, new to forum but just had a problem with Sat Nav (SD Card version) and thought I'd share.
I have recently performed an update and it appeared to be working fine except when it came to adding a new destination.
It would not allow postcode (or town etc) to be entered in the "where to" option.

I saw in other posts that taking the SD card out, locking the car for a couple of hours and reinserting the card might work but that didn't for me.

Out of desperation, and reading about "possibly the Sat Nav has reset itself to Belgium) I then went to "Where to", Address, Country and, even though it already said "United Kingdom", I selected that option and re-entered U then K to re-set United Kingdom.
Sat Nav now accepts new destinations.

Don't know if this is a general fix for the issue or just my good luck but I hope this helps someone else who cannot enter new destinations after an update.

 

Thanks, after an update the postcode function was greyed out. After choosing UK again the postcode function is now working. Many thanks
