Hello all. Hope you are all well. I see a lot of mixed forums on this. I wish to change existing trim with the chrome one. I can see that the release process is simple to do. However dealing with an airbag is always a bit twitchy to play with. First question. Should the battery be isolated. The wiring terminal at the back of the air bag won’t be disconnected. And secondly. Has anyone changed a trim without removing the airbag. Thanks Leroy

 

I'll be replacing my steering wheel with an OEM new wheel. This will leave me with whole good wheel.... But has some scratched leather. Good chrome and buttons ect. I'll leave the extended paddles on
