Default 09 XF stuck on inclined driveway.

My 2009 Jaguar just stalled half way up our insanely steep driveway and it will not move!

This forum is for the later XF's.
You will get better answers if you post in the early XF forum.

But without more information we won't be able to help you.

Do you mean that the engine won't restart, or that you can restart the engine but the car won't move when put into D or R (or if a manual gearbox when you engage a gear and let out the clutch)?
If you put the car in neutral and release the brake, will it roll down your drive?

Or is it in P and not having the parking brake set before releasing the foot brake, has it moved slightly thus resting against the parking pawl in the transmission? Or do ZF transmissions not have a P pawl?

Yes it's a bit irritatiing when people join the forum, immediately post an issue and then don't respond to replies that are seeking to help.

If your car is still stuck then you deserve it. But .... in case you haven't tried it yet release the transmission lock.
