Did you guys try to ever fit 17 in wheels on XF? What is the smallest wheel diameter which could be fit on them?

I want to buy a set of winter wheels for the next winter and of course want the sidewalls to be as tall as possible.

I know 18" will fit, but how 'bout 17"? You think XE wheels fit?

 

I've been looking at the same thing!

I don't know for sure, but judging by the limited space around the front caliper, I can't see a 17" fitting. I think 18" is the smallest you could safely go. Which is a bummer because I already have 17" snow tires from my previous car that are like new!

 

According to the link below, the base 2.0D in Europe got a 17" wheel.

If the brake calipers are the same on yours, then you should be able to find a 17" wheel that will fit.
