I bought the above mentioned car from a honda dealership in oct laat year. 10 months later the engine has blown. Crank has seized.
Now im looking for an engine to put in, but looking at £4000 cheapest ive seen! Can anyone help!
please ! I love the car but honda dont want to know even though I have 2 months warranty left.

 

On what grounds are they declining the warranty?

4000 sounds very reasonable for a new engine.

 

Wondering how this is going. If there's a warranty that covers drivetrain, it should be covered. I had a situation with a blown motor that cost $20k and warranty was denied with no reason. Had to lay out money to fix the car, and get a lawyer, but they didn't have a leg to stand on so I got my money back plus legal costs. Seems like companies are trying to save money by seeing what they can get away with.
