Default 2011 XF suspension issue

I Need some help???!I have a 2011 XF supercharged and I replace the front forwards control arm and lower control, tie rods inner/ outer and the upper control was replace also. The height sensor on the driver side broke off the nipple in half doing the installation. Now the car shocks rides rough, I check for voltage at the shock connector top and nothing. Do you need to recalibrated the shock system & if so what is the # ???

Did you replace the height detector before you started the engine after the work, or was it afterwards ? If the system detected the height detector was defective then it would have throwna fault code; did you see a fault message on the dash display ? The hard suspension is due to the stored code, so this needs clearing-off first. You might need a recalibration too.

Yes there was a fault code showing when I starter the engine up. That is also when discover the sensor rubber arm was broke in half. Replace sensor and purchase a obdII scanner (Autel MP808) to recalibrate the system. Don’t know if it will work or not? I measure the front wheel center of the rim to the fender and it was 14.5 inches high and the rear was 14.75..

Don't know if you realise that this is the X260 forum, 2015 onwards - there's a similar forum for the X250 on this site
