My son has been driving my 2013 jaguar xf and apparently he left something on and the battery went dead overnight. I couldnt find a way to get to the battery so after watching you tube it showed me to open passenger kick board and place the positive jumper cable on the positive post and negative on the door post and i popped the trunk. After disconnecting the battery to charge it now my car says smart key not reconized and wont do anything. I did have two keys but i have searched the whole house and can not find the other key. So i just have one key
