I'm upgrading my sound system with a DS1800 amp and a JL 10" Sub ported. I have the subwoofer wires connected correctly to my LOC. With ground and remote done. Amp turns on VIA fuse tap in to 10amp cluster fuse in trunk. But no sound is coming from the subs. I hear it star up and in a half second single dies. Does meridian or Jaguar have a some kind of power draw detection system I don't know about that would shut of the bass single due to me tapping in???? And just in case does anyone have a Diagraim for 2017 XF 380watt 11 speaker system. Thank you in advance.

 

OK so i bought a AudioControl LC1i LOC and a AudioControl AC-LGD 60 load generating device and signal stabilizer. Had the amp and sub checked out by a few other people just to get a fresh set of eyes on it. re did the ground wire for the amp to a freesh spoth. put it to the meter to test if its is a good ground and it checked out. re wired everything with new wires. and installed a 10.25 Android Radio 8gb/128gb running android 12. (great HU by the way). and everything worked. no after alarm 30hertz blow out. nothing. for 2 weeks. then it can back. my last hope is the DS18 bass knob for my DS18 x1B. which it actually has the remote wire feed to it before the amp. it comes in tomorrow . I will update.
