antifreeze
my 2016 XF owner's manual says to use Texaco XLC antifreeze. I find no discussion on the subject.
Does anyone know what other brands are compatible?
I think the aluminum motor is the concern?

Is there no specification also shown ? There will be other antifreeze products available which will suit your car. I can't see that Texaco have a unique insight into what the Jaguar engines require !
I ended up with Zerex Valvoline G40. "Recommended for Jaguar after 2014" according to the label. At NAPA. NAPA website says the same product in the pre mixed diluted form is not compatible for Jaguar. No clue why the one or the other. The product is pink, like what I find in my coolant reservoir after dealer only services on the vehicle.
Note: I have had this car for 2.5 years, 10,000 miles, and this is the first time I have ever added any fluids. 50 years of tinkering with cars is finally paying off.
Note: I think Valvoline and Texaco are the same and that both are owned by Chevron.

10K total? Keep an eye on the coolant level. It's a closed system and shouldn't lose enough to require topping up after 10K. Replacement isn't recommended until 10 yr./100K miles (?). 5 years 21K miles mine has remained stable.
@CarsonCitySmith, after a cold-soak, preferably overnight, use a cooling system tester to pressurise the system to 1 bar and inspect for leaks. If the gauge on the pressure tester begins to drop, check the water pump and coolant outlet underneath the supercharger for leaks.
