Default Can These Pieces be Polished?

Hello all,

I’ve got a 2021 Jaguar XF with these glossy temperature control knobs and bar. Can they be polished?

Thank you!

Well, it depends on what the dials are made of. If plastic, then I doubt they can be polished. If metal, then if aluminium, it is likely they will be anodised, so again, unsuitable for polishing. Do you have a poblem with them, or just want them to look 'blingy' ? BTW, I do like a bit of bling on a car, all this black stuff is awful !

From the picture it looks like over spray .... even the rubber mat has spots on it. Try detail clay if that's the case. If they are nicks in the plastic I doubt you can rub/polish it out. The most mild polish I know of is tooth paste. Try it. If it just makes it worse, which it very well may, just buy knew pieces and replace if it bothers you.
