Default Current XF any good?

Time to replace the wife's 2011 XF.

For a while I've told her "no more Jags" - we had an S-type followed by the 5.0L XF. The "fun" I had on the XF of changing all of the coolant pipes and hoses at 50K, the three water pumps and finally the intake manifold (cracked) has soured me a bit. Bear in mind the car has only done 60K mi at this point.
Also, when I saw that the engine option was a turbo 4 banger, vs the V8 I was less than impressed.

We considered other cars. Audi A5 and BMW 330, well they too have turbo 4 bangers, so I guess it's Hobsons choice these days?

So, any recommendations for the 2024/2025 Jag Xf? Anyone have real world comparison experience with the other two options?
Thanks!

I bought a 2016 XF in 2019 and haven't needed any repairs yet. 3.0 V6 with a supercharger, runs great. Get a used one, about half price.

The 4 cyl gas Turbo is a good engine. I haven't read any issues on the gas Turbo on both Jaguar and Land Rover forums. A solid engine through my experience. Excelent MPG as well. Electronics could be finicky when battery is deteriorating or about the fail.
There is a Chain Drive issue on the Diesel 4 cyl Turbo but it was corrected on 2019 models.

My low mileage 2017 gas V6 has been the most reliable new car I've ever bought. Only minor problems easily fixed by me other than the intermittent trunk open/lift feature. It's time for a new car but I don't do 4 cylinder turbo in a four door although most people are satisfied with the engine's output.. I'll keep it for now.

I would pick the XF over the german competition on looks alone, not to mention the 5 year free service they offer. In CA you can easily get a loaded XF for 55K.
