dome light not on

dome light not on
hi have a 2016 XF the dome light (nor any interiorlights) come one when the door is opened. tapped the light and it comes on, but stays on. how to i make it automatic when door is opened?

"To switch the automatic illumination of the interior lights on or off, continue to touch the front interior light lens (6) until the light flashes. INTERIOR LIGHTS OFF or INTERIOR LIGHTS AUTO will be displayed in the Message center accordingly."
