Morning all. Wondering if anyone has an idiots guide as to where the engine coolant temp sensor is located. Been having issues with my 2.0 diesel not getting up to temperature along with the odd check engine light. I’ve narrowed it down to two possible components. Thermostat and the sensor. I’d like to change the sensor before my long commute to work on Wednesday to see if it works. I’ve followed the hoses and think I’ve found the thermostat housing but the sensor is eluding me. Lol. Thanks in advance

I think I found it and replaced it yesterday but it didn’t solve my overall problem.
Mine was mounted front left hand side of engine block, below the air pipe over the top of Intercooler and rad. (Hope that was the one anyway) lol.

thermostat will be the next thing, but again I need to search for that. Will have another look on your diagram, see if it’s on there.
