Hi all,
I just purchased my 2017 XF 20d and I have a DRL issue with the drivers side headlight.
At first start it may come on for a few seconds then go off, flash on and off a few times - then nothing.
I accessed the wiring and socket to the headlight and while side lights on - wiggled and moved everything - no difference.
Could this be the headlight assembly or light control somewhere?
Seems very difficult to get a voltage probe on individual wires to check for voltage supplied or not.

 

You may try searching old threads, I seem to remember mention of led dropout problems a year or more back. Unfortunately my recall includes the impression that the unit is not serviceable. replace only. Ouch.

 

UPDATE
So it turns out that the headlight unit had t be replaced only $3200 CAD Ouch!!!!! plus install and alignment.
