Flat Bottomed Steering Wheels on 2018 XF?
I just noticed something curious on the paperwork from when I ordered my 2018 XF. I've heard some call this the "Vista" sheet, although mine doesn't say Vista anywhere on it. The first and second page show the model and all the options I selected, then the third page has a header called "Derivative Pack" with the first option code listed as ZJ04 S. This appears to be the code for the S model, and what remains are listed the options you get when you order this model. Listed among them is "F95T Flat Bottomed Steering Wheel - DO NOT ORDER INDIVIDUALLY". Directly below that is "F97A Heated Steering Wheel".
Now, I've looked at all the literature there is on the X260 XFs since they came out in 2016 and have never seen a flat bottomed steering wheel. I've even looked at the Jaguar Configurator for cars sold in other countries and have not seen it. The 2018 brochure doesn't even mention it or show it. I believe the F Type offers a flat-bottomed steering wheel, but haven't read anything anywhere about the 2018 XF getting it as an option or standard on the S models.
Has anyone else ever heard of this? Any idea why it would be listed on my sheet, or the significance of the capitalized notation "DO NOT ORDER INDIVIDUALLY"? I really only need one steering wheel, so why wouldn't it be ordered individually?
Any insight would be much appreciated! If all else fails I'll ask my dealer, but they've been misinformed on other things and take forever to provide a response.

That is interesting. I'll keep my eyes peeled. I'd have to see it to know if I'd like it but when I picture it, I'm not digging it. I can see it for the F-type but I think it would look weird in the XF - like a Brit faking an Italian accent.
I agree. While the XF may drive much like a sports car, it's a 4 door sedan. I'm not sure a flat bottomed steering wheel would look right either. It is funny though, and quite a coincidence, right after ordering the car I had joked with my wife that I should have told them to include a flat bottomed steering wheel, as I'd need it to make room for the perpetual erection I'd be sporting every time I drive it!
But if the F97A is a heated steering wheel and the flat bottomed one is not heated you know what I would order. I have the heated steering, round wheel on my XF.
Ok, finally asked my dealer about the flat-bottom steering wheel on my order form for my 2018 XF S, and he confirms it will have one. That's really strange, since it's not listed as an option anywhere that I can find, either on line or in the 2018 brochure. Guess I'll get used to it. It also lists the heated steering wheel, so I suppose the flat-bottomed one will be heated too. Should be anyway, especially since I ordered the Cold Weather Package with heated windshield. Since I didn't specify the flat-bottomed steering wheel, if it actually does arrive with it, then it must be a new change that's part of the S package.
Has anyone else received a 2018 XF (S or otherwise) with a flat-bottomed steering wheel? Where is that even advertised as an option? Would like some confirmation other than from the dealer, who may simply be going off what the sheet says and still could be wrong. Thanks for any input anyone may have!

Mystery solved. Car arrived today, with round steering wheel. Unfortunately had wrong interior though... (different thread). My salesman had "confirmed" it would have a flat-bottomed steering wheel, but this is the same &%$@*(%$# who failed to notice the error on my build sheet that resulted in getting the wrong interior. So, XFs are not available with flat-bottomed steering wheels, regardless of what the build sheet may say.
