Default Jaguar XF 2009 Fuel Gauge problem

Hello!

I have a problem that the car is showing me a warning light that there is no fuel, even though the tank is full. Sometimes it starts working again and it's showing the right amount of fuel left in the tank.
I'm almost 100% sure that it's the connector on the "fuel sender" or "fuel gauge" somewhere that's faulty. It's just needs to be cleaned or something. Also on the Jag dealer computer it showed no faults ( of course it was working on the day I was there) and also the mechanic said it could be the connector that's disconnecting the information from fuel sensor..

It was said on other forums that the connector can be reached under the rear seats. Is there anybody who can help me locate this connector? So that when I remove rear seats, I can find this connector...

Thank you for your help,

Rok

You'll likely get more responses in the correct forum. The XF250 sub-forum is the correct one for older models. Good luck!
