Default Low Profile Tyre Change

I have recently purchased 2015 XF 2.2. It has the original 18" wheels with low profile tyres. I wish to change these to normal tyres, Does anyone know of any reason why i should not do this, Would it be better to get a set of 17" wheels and normal 235/55/17

Hi this is the X type section.
Just a tip don't forget to inform your insurance company if you do swop or you could find yourself uninsured.

Need to check that there is clearance on the brake rotors with the smaller wheel.

Welcome to the forum nadge.

Please post an intro in the new members section when you can.

I've moved your post to the X260 section if you have the earlier X250 model let us know and we'll get you to the right section.

Are you sure? AFAIK the low profile tires came with the 19" wheels. What are the dimensions?
