Default "Message" on the supercharger

2016 XF, runs and drives well, but the "message" on the supercharger has me concerned; anyone else have something similar?

Have you only just noticed this "message" on a car you've had for some time, or is it a new-to-you used car purchase? If the latter, I would take it back to the vendor to ask for an explanation.

Have only had the car since 11/07/2022; I have contacted the selling dealer; car was a trade-in on a new BMW, dealer is contacting the previous owners, will update me on what they discover. My only issue with the dealer, at this point, is that the tech who serviced the car may not have informed his manager to determine if there was truly a problem. The car runs well with no odd noises, so we will see what comes up

It might make sense to get another mechanic to look it over to have an unbiased view of the car...

That 'message' could be referring to anything so it's not worth worrying about. It could mean something minor was found at the factory, at the dealer, by an indy mechanic, or the owner and corrected.

If it was corrected at the factory or dealer, they would have removed the note, since they want to sell the car...

Assumption, maybe true. Or they had them all lined up at the factory and those with the bad part (my assumption) were identified by the 'message' and replaced in a production line fashion and they just didn't remove the writing. If it really bothers the OP they should get in touch with the factory rep via email and see if they know what's up. I noticed there was also a yellow mark by one of the connectors .... maybe that was the notice that the corrective work has been done (or that was where the 'bad' part was). Being the optimist, if there's no problem/issue noticed by the OP then it's probably OK.

UPDATE: Spoke with the selling dealer, they have been in contact with the Jaguar dealership who serviced the car from new; they have nothing indicating the car has ever had any issues with the sc. I'm okay with that resolution

Looks like they were referring to something to do with the coolant connector to me as there is a yellow mark by it.
