Default Navigation

So I purchased a 2010 Jaguar XF last month. Great deal only had 49919 miles . Had a broken speaker grille and a window seal that seems to be broken but still intact. Not bad and I am pleased. So why going thru the navigation system the state of Texas doesn't exist but does know where I am when I am in the car. How do I get the state of Texas on the navigation system?

Congrats on the car! You're in the wrong forum section. The older XF models are in the X250 section in 'modern jaguars' - perhaps a mod can move this?

The nav in the 2010 XF has two DVD discs - one for east of the country and one for west. I believe both have a base map for the whole country, but not the detail and search etc. so my guess is you have the east disc in the system. Go into the trunk, open the flap on the left hand side and you can find the nav DVD and pop out the disc. If you have the west one put it in. Else you may need to buy it (and get a more up to date one).
