Cool Park Aid Intermittent Fault

2015 Portfolio 2.2 Diesel. Intermittent Park Aid Unavailable contact dealer fault started approx 6 weeks ago. Fault occirs when driving and occasionally after hitting bump - but seems to reset after car is parked for a while. Looking at the usual faults a new Boot loom is fitted but no change. Fault increases over the next weeks to the point where the car has the system only for a few seconds before failure and the car sent to dealer for repair. Dealer replaces Park Aid module and the first run lasts 10 minutes before failure - second 20 and the third 25 minutes before Park Aid Unavailable alarm, so the problem has reduced but not been eliminated - any ideas????

I would say it is some kind of connect problem, possibly heat issue. Does it stop working when the car is warmed up?

Hello Poweraxel - thanks for the reply. Having visited my local garage Hollygrove who are Jaguar specialists they came to the conclusion that it might be the Parking Aid module and suggested this be replaced which was done. Soon after collecting the car the PA failed - but rebooted on restarting the car at home. This failure/reboot continued for 4 times and then no more problems!!!!!! Was this a miracle?? Anyway it is now 16 days since the last failure and I have done many short trips using reverse frequently.
Being more constructive it could be some form of software reboot is necessary after the new module is loaded - but as you suggest it could be just down to a change in temperature.
