Hello,
I purchased a 2018 XF Sportbrake which I have discovered has a roof leak originating (I believe) where the glass roof meets the metal above the driver side corner. The water is running down the interior of the A pillar and making it's way into the cabin. I''ve attached some photos to help explain.
Anyone ever experience this issue? Is there possibly a drain hole plugged?
There was no record of the vehicle being involved in an accident so I was wondering if this may be a known issue with this model? This is my first Jaguar and I really like the vehicle but I need to resolve this issue quickly before the interior begins to mold.
My apologize if I've posted the photos too large, I tried to resize but I'm not well versed on editing.
Thank you in advance for any insight.
Sorry I don't have any specifics re. predilection to leaking and mine doesn't, but there are lots of pano roofs around these days so I suspect a good auto glass place might have the expertise to find/fix the problem. NOT a dealer!
Thank you for your reply.
I'm drying out the interior now and hoping to get a stretch of dry days to run water from the bottom of the windshield up and over the pano to try and locate the source of the leak. Hopefully I can then have someone address the issue.
