in the car type option what year do you have selected

 

XFL high or low but tried both (can't remember currently). The engineers told me to use that. XF only shows 2013 - 2015 I believe, tried it as well but warning remained. Cooled seats also did not work under XF

 

Went through the driver assistance menu on the dash and found Reverse traffic detection. Turned it off and the warning is now gone in reverse. Can't see how that could be much different then the backup cam and sensors so no issues leaving it off. I initaly tried duplicating that warning with the factory screen and was not able to by unplugging any combination.

At this point just cooled seats not working

*EDIT - The damn car turns reverse traffic detection back on every time it turns off 😑

 

they have to send you a new decoder that option is not activated in the decoder script ,you should get it in a week

 

Waiting on them to ship out. Hopefully there is an actual issue with the my current canbus boxes and not bugs that haven't been corrected still.
Remaining bugs with unit:
1. Cooled seats not selectable.
2. Start and Stop is re-enabled every time the car is turned off and restarted (turned off in settings).
3. Reverse traffic detection re-enabled everytime the car is turned off and restarted.
4. Changing the temperature setting of the AC or heat does not actually change the temperature of the air. Can only be controlled by the fan speed and direction.

This may interest you. I ordered this adapter to attempt using the cars oem gps antenna. Not sure if it's possible or which plug that connection is but figured why not try for $7.

I ended up using this adapter to connect directly to the cars factory GPS antenna: I now have instant GPS connection instead of waiting to connect to satellites with aftermarket antenna provided. I had a lot of issues with the antenna as far as in acquiring and dropping signal. Using the workbook above, I found the blue connector from the car is where the backup cam and GPS antenna signals come from. The left side with the clip is the camera, right hand side is the GPS antenna. Took a razor knife and shaved down the plastic on fakra adapter so it would fit beside the camera and works 💯.

I am wondering now if the other end of the cars white connector for the am/fm antenna is for gsm 3g/4g.... would be nice to get rid of that antenna as well.
