0420 code

0420 code
regarding 0420 code, which shows up as "secondary air flow insufficient", the car seems to be driving fine with this fault pending and cel on ( 0420 is only fault showing), how critical is this component to the health of the car? in other words, can the car be driven fir a period of time with this fault until i get the time and funds to address it? i cleared it a few days ago, and it remained off for about a week. im reluctant to just keep clearing it and resetting all the drive cycles.

This was a common problem on the early model cars.
A software update fixed it. If the software on your car has already been updated, look for a broken vacuum hose. I had to replace one a few years back as I’d get this code every couple of days. It was about 50 bucks for the hose and call it an hour or so to install.
The p0411 isn’t critical but you still shouldn’t wait too long to address it.
