About two months ago I heard crackling and grinding noise after I hit the brakes to slow down and It felt like the ABS came on for no reason so I had my mechanic change the brakes and inspect the rotors everything seem to be OK.
after a while same thing happened but worse, The vehicle has horrible grinding noise coming from the front and the ABS light comes on and the e-break light to. if you speed up everything stops.
but if im driving 10 to 15 miles and press the brakes it happens but not all the time comes and goes. Any help would greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance.

 

You can make a guess and replace parts, but you really should have the ABS system scanned. I don't know if any parts stores near you do a free scan, but even if they do, their scanners may not cover Jaguar ABS systems. Even if you have to pay, it will save you enough money to make it worth while.

 

I would look further in to the transmission and the application of the gears by the solenoids.
