Just a few days ago i bought my white 09 XF and instantly wanted to replace all the chrome on the car with carbon fiber. Ive been able to find pretty much everything that i have been looking for but i have not been able to find the side vents in carbon fiber (but i have seen them in pictures) and i also have not been able to find the headlight lids in carbon fiber. Ive seen the ones on mina but they do not seem to be the ones that go all the way around the headlights. Any help or suggestions on where to find them would be greatly appreciated.

 

I think that Jag sell the cf vents, at least they did for the XK. They would be expensive though, the cf bonnet vents were about $1,000 here. I wrapped the bonnet and brake vents in 3M cf wrap, it looks very nice. The side vents are easy to do. I did it on the basis that if I liked it enough after a while I'd spring for the real thing, but it looks good enough and you cant tell its wrap unless you look really close, so I wouldnt bother throwing more money at it.

 

Chris at Mina Gallery has the side vents and a lot of other carbon details. I'm ordering the rear carbon defuser next week.

 

Once the lids are on, and the bonnet closed, they don't show the edges.

 

Best white XF I've ever seen was blacked out chrome, carbon details and graphite wheels. Stunning! It just need the roof black. 😊

Also, id really like to know how much does the rear carbon defuser cost?
And how long does it usually take for your order to come in after youve placed it from mina?

 

I got an email saying that the diffuser was in stock and ready to ship. I am ordering the diffuser and the exhaust for my car this week. The rear spoiler that I wanted is not in stock and will take a few more weeks before they expect to ship it to me.

 

On a much needed road trip this past weekend, the lower half of my right fender vent/louver fell off and is lost. It was the Mina carbon fiber louver. I have tried to contact them to see if I can get a replacement piece, but have not heard back, and their site no longer lists them.
Does anyone know where I can get a replacement piece?
