Default 2009 xf navigation dvd player

My 2009 xf is prewired for Navigation and I am looking to see if there are any on the market that are compatible and will fit in the space provided the left hand panel slot in the rear trunk. I purchased the car used and original owner did not elect the option. Can someone help and is it difficult to install given it is pre-wired. Love to hear from someone

I have the same thing on my recently purchased xf. (pre wire).
I priced out the navigation screen and cor unit and it was 2300.00 for the nav screen and 4000 for the nav core and dvd option.
Did you have any luck on Your side?
Im going to call Jag an follow up.
Regards,
Mark

Considering the price of a Tom Tom these days that is flat ridiculous pricing. I fit my Tom Tom onto a RAM mount on top of the cupholder mount accessory inserted into the front cup holder and power it from the 12 volt outlet in the armrest cubby. The latest Tom Tom would not need the RAM mount but should stick right on top of the cup holder mount.

I have nav in mine but updates are slow and expensive due to dependence on DVD. I use it but check beforehand via smartphone that there are no obvious major changes to the roadsystem. For travelling abraod I use the TomTom in addition with online updates via PC every time I am about to visist an area I haven't seen before or for a longish time. In cities anywhere I only use the tomtom. Time has left the original nav behind.
