2009 XF-S Curious DTC for transmission: C3FC0??
Hello all - hope you're well and enjoying your cars.
After a two-week layup fighting covid, I got the XF out from under the tarp today and took it for a spin. The CEL was on - but that's not terribly rare - I have a recurrent P0101 code that gets thrown after a highway drive that resolves with some in-town driving. (Likely a small vacuum leak that will need addressing at some point)
But I put the scanner on it anyway just to check/clear the codes and I also got a Gear Selection Module code: C3FC0. No info appears available on this at all. The car drives fine - I beat on it occasionally and use the paddles, dynamic mode and S mode occasionally. Most of my driving is city-bound stop and go stuff. The tranny seems to be working fine, with some clunks now and again.
Car has 118K kms on it and is due for a transmission fluid swap for sure.
I'm using the apple "Car Scanner" app and a VEEPEAK bluetooth OBD-II dongle.
Any insight into this code? Thanks in advance! (I've searched google and these forums - but literally nothing comes up!)
