Some additional information on which models are impacted from MSN.
Nearly all of the affected XF sedans are 2010 models, but Jaguar says that 43 sedans from 2011-2012 have been serviced with aftermarket flanges that may be prone to leakage.

Sounds like they changed the production parts and moved the old parts to repair inventory? I doubt Jag is the only manufacture to use this technique on non faulty parts (at least that's what I assume they were labeled back in 2010 when pulled).
