2010 XF - How to enable TV on US versions

2010 XF - How to enable TV on US versions
It doesn't look like the US versions have this TV viewing option I am seeing int he manual. Is there any kind of custom firmware or update/hack we can do to enable this? I'm guessing it's there just not enabled.
