Default 2010 XF Supercharged tuning

I was just wondering if anyone with a 2010 to 2012 XF Supercharged has completed an ECU tune, and if if so what results did it produce? I am trying to get to the 500hp mark, but the tunes out there seem very pricey for just a 30 to 40 hp gain. Most tunes i have found run between 1500 to 2000 dollars. Are they even worth it?

Oh check some of the threads or google XF tuning, one of the sponsors here ECU Tuning group is always running a special, Pulley and tune for $1k. As far as is it worth it,
When you lay into it and the speedo jumps from 60 to 110 like your running a multi stage afterburner. YES
When you smoke the guy in the Vette, Mustang, Camaro, Challenger, Subaru..etc. WITH your A/C on and a passenger Yes.
When you know If the checkered flag is on, just about every other sedan is toast. Yes

thanks for the tip. I will save up for a tune. ETG tuning tells me the 5.0 liter Supercharged and the XFR are basically the same engine wise. They state that an ecu tune alone will easily get the 5.0 liter Supercharged V8 to over 500hp. It seems the Supercharged is purposely tuned down, so as not to steal the thunder from the XFR models.

most of the tuners claim about 550 engine hp with the pulley / tune combo. One claimed 620, but i ended up steering away from him because seemed like too lofty of a claim - who knows.
i went with VAP
the 2010 - 2012 xf 5.0 s/c cars have a denso management system. the 2013 and newer have a bosch management system that supposedly can achieve a bit more hp - into the low 600 club
this is just my regurgitation of all the info i've gleaned
