Default 2012 Jag Xf headlight lissue

Hello I wanted to know if anyone had or have this issue with their headlight and if there's a known possible fix. When turning on my lights only the passenger side comes on then about 15-20 minutes later the driver side light will come on. We changed the bulb and the ballast but it continues to do the same thing. We even took both lights out and plugged the p.side light into the d.side an still the same problem but plugging the d.side light into the p.side an it comes right on..Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I'm actually having the same issue - just started a couple months - same year and car - I didn't get a chance to change bulb or ballet yet- but with my issue to fix it is by turn the light on and off then both light work -

so if you change both lights and ballet - it might be night sensor ? mine doesn't do it althe time but did notice it starts to act up on dusty roads or when I don't clean car -

also did you use a special tool to remove the clip that holds the light in place ?

On mine u have to use a 10mm socket to remove 3 bolts that hold the bumper in place in order to have enough room to pull out the light. An it's 3 bolts for the light as well. It took me about 15min to Get the light out. My light does it all the time especially if the car Ben sitting for a few hrs. Someone else mentioned the sensor to me also. I have it at a shop right now and they suppose to tell me something tomorrow
