Hello everyone, thank you for letting me join.

My uncle's XF 5.0 NA has a crack in the thermostat housing and he asked me to help him get it done. Looks like I could get to it if I remove the throttle body and plenum, but there might be some other stuff in there. I searched everywhere and couldn't find anything. I did find a service manual but for the s/c 5.0 and its a little different.

Has anyone removed their thermostat housing before? Is there a way to get to the service manual for the 5.0 naturally aspirated model?

Before I tore into anything I would get a service manual off EBay. They are only about $15-$20.
Money well spent!
